Safeguarding Induction
As part of your induction into Thomas’s, it is important that you are familiar and understand your responsibilities in the DfE statutory guidance Keeping children safe in education and the Prevent Duty.
You will need to complete the following tasks:
| Induction Training | Attend in-person training at one of our schools (available at the start of the academic year only) OR Watch the training video below |
| Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) | Read and understand Part 1 Translations are available here. |
| Prevent Duty | Complete Gov.uk Awareness training OR Compete ‘The Prevent Duty’ on Educare (for Thomas’s staff only) |
| Safeguarding Policy | Read and understand the Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy. Select the school you will be working at: Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy (Battersea) Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy (Clapham) Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy (Fulham) Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy (Kensington) Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy (College) |
