Physical Development

Activities which support small and large movements, such as playdough and our water rollers, help develop and strengthen hand and upper arm muscles which are important for later writing.

The children go outside to play every morning. Bats, balls and hoops encourage children to throw and catch and develop their control and co-ordination.

In the Upper Kindergarten the children go to the Rooftop Playground at Thomas’s Battersea every week where there is a large range of climbing equipment and use the Ballet Room for a range of obstacle courses and races.
