Cricket is played as the major game for boys at Thomas's Fulham during the Summer Term. The fixture list is extensive and competitive. Games afternoons are set aside for matches, along with regular Saturday morning fixtures and exciting tournaments.
The boys are introduced to the basic skills of batting, bowling and fielding, along with game tactics through Kwik Cricket before moving towards hard ball cricket in Years 5 & 6.
In 2013 the local council built two state-of-the-art cricket nets that complement training, along with two grass wickets in South Park. A pre-season club is held at the Ken Barrington Indoor School at The Oval.
Towards the end of the Summer Term, the interhouse competition is held which encourages participation and offers an additional opportunity for more boys to play representative matches.
From Year 3 upwards our girls play cricket during the summer term. Increasingly, more schools are opting to teach girls cricket, giving girls the potential to excel and become elite players.

The girls are introduced to the basic skills of batting, bowling and fielding, along with game tactics through pairs Cricket. The level of these skills increases as the girls move through to Years 5 & 6.
Clubs are held in the summer term for pupils to attend and these are combined with the boys of the same year groups.
