Computers are now part of everyday life. For most of us, technology is essential to our lives, at home and at work. At Thomas's Fulham the computing curriculum has been developed to equip pupils with the skills they need to use technology confidently and safely in all relevant aspects of their life.
From creating games to programming traffic lights, the pupils are immersed in and utilise a wide variety of technological hardware and software. Lessons include the latest technology and in recent years we have added 3D printing and programmable drones to to our vast and dynamic curriculum.
Online safety is a focus at Thomas’s and pupils are taught up to date strategies to keep them safe when using technology at home and in the wider community. As well as a weekly computing lesson each classroom has access to ipads, netbooks and a range of other devices which support and enhance the pupils' learning.
