Please note the changes to our Admissions Policy for pupils registering for September 2023 onward (so babies born from 1st September 2018). For these children, registration will no longer open at birth, but rather on 1st September three years before entry, when children are aged between one and two years old. An explanation of this procedure is available on the Admissions tab of this website. Please contact the Registrar for further details.
What is the entry procedure?
We operate a selective entry procedure and give priority to siblings of current pupils. Our entrance assessments seek to ensure that the pupils selected will enjoy and benefit from the broad curriculum on offer.
Unfortunately there is no automatic entry from Thomas’s Kindergarten to Reception at Thomas’s Clapham. The registration of any pupil attending Thomas’s Kindergarten will, however, be placed on the Main Registration List for entry to Reception in the appropriate year, thus guaranteeing the offer of an entrance assessment when the time comes. More information about the Kindergarten may be found here.
How do I register my child?
The School Registrar, Lucy Frere-Scott, is responsible for all registrations. She may be contacted on Tel: 020 7326 9300 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please be aware that a child can only be registered at one of the Thomas’s Schools.
Financial assistance at Thomas’s Schools is available from Thomas’s Schools Foundation. Please visit their website at www.tsfoundation.org.uk for further details. Please be aware that it is not possible to apply formally to the Foundation until your child is holding an offer of a place at Thomas's.
