The school occupies a Grade II listed building, the former Sir Walter St John Grammar School, founded in 1700.
The buildings are arranged around an attractive courtyard and there is a one-acre playground/sports ground with Astroturf, a rooftop playground and a quiet garden.
Facilities include an historic Great Hall which is equipped as a theatre, a gymnasium, a ballet room, three fully equipped science laboratories, two large and light art rooms plus a pottery room, a spacious Music School, including a Recital Room and instrumental practice rooms, two libraries and two Computing suites.
In the local vicinity are St Mary’s Church which the school uses for a weekly service, Battersea Park and its excellent sports venues, Wandle Recreation Centre, Latchmere Leisure Centre, The Queen Mother’s Sports Centre and a number of other venues that we utilise to ensure a full range of sports activities.
We are also well placed to take advantage of the cultural aspects of the city.
